Getting my spook on in readiness for Halloween. 👻 Which is only two weeks away folks! How did we get here so fast? Right now I’m planning my Halloweeny fun. I’ve already rewatched ‘The Flintstones Meet Rockula and Frankenstone’. Obvs. I’ve got a Frankenstein & his Bride marathon planned, love me some Karloff. 😍 I’m thinking I’ll finally throw myself into the original ‘Nosferatu’ of 1922, and I may re-read ‘The Daylight Gate’ by Jeanette Winterson alongside my usually October fare of Robert Louis Stevenson’s ‘Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’ – The question is, which film version should I see? Should I go 1931 with Fredric March and Miriam Hopkins or watch Spencer Tracey and Ingrid Bergman from 1941? Oh and I need to find some spooky music too.
